Randy Bowen is starting his 5th year here at Stringtown Schools. He teaches 7th-12^th social studies. He retired 5 years ago after coaching H.S. Baseball for 32 years.

He is married to his beautiful wife, Stephanie, who teaches 7-12 science, and they have 3 grown sons: Ryan, Adam, and Zane. We have 2 grandsons, Zayden and Grayor.

He enjoys concentrating solely on teaching after being a coach for 32 years. He likes the classroom and the interaction with his students. “Being around the students motivates me and helps me feel young.”

He enjoys hunting and fishing and rides on his Polaris Ranger. He is also a Basketball official, which he enjoys and has been doing since 1981. He also enjoys getting to see his grandsons, his sons, and daughters-in-law, and he and his wife watch as many of our oldest son Ryan's games as they can. Ryan is the Head Baseball Coach at Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, Oklahoma. He is thankful for the opportunity he has to teach at Stringtown.
